United Breaks Guitars!

So, I get this video in an email from my father, & it reminds me of a flight I had in 2006—via United—from Albany, NY to Osaka, through O'Hare. When I landed, my luggage had been soaked in the antifreeze that they had sprayed upon the wing. No biggie, I thought. Except, my $2,000 guitar. The case had been damaged. Not too severely, and it had obviously done its job, but nevertheless.

When I returned to America, I brought the guitar onboard with me rather than trust the morons in baggage. The crew let me stow it in front with the baby carriages. Now that I hear about this, I'm glad I did that!
